Self Study

2010 Summer Promotion - Save $100

Course Extension Policy - Effective January 1, 2008 for New Students
Six months are permitted to complete the course. If needed, one three-month extension may be requested after five months into the course. The request must be submitted in writing to the IBA and a $50 extension fee will be charged.

For persons wanting to set their own schedules, the Self Study format brings college-level courses to the home or office. Even though students involved in self-study work independently, help is available from an IBA assigned faculty advisor. Faculty advisors are responsible for grading course exams, providing assistance with course material and answering any questions.

Three AIB credits, which may be transferable to some colleges, can be earned per course. To receive credit, exams must be administered by a manager or supervisor at the student's institution.

New students seeking an AIB diploma or certificate are eligible for the IBA's Self-Study Advantage discount. This discount entitles eligible students to $50 off each course in the Self-Study program.
