School Series Scholarship - Members and Nonmembers
Accelerate your career development by attending one of the IBA’s five-part school series: the Commercial Lending School and the Regulatory Compliance Management School. Both schools offer quality training and provide participants with the necessary tools to improve professional performance. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Future Leaders Alliance (FLA) Scholarship - Members Only
The FLA is an innovative leadership program designed to advance the development of future leaders. FLA offers an exciting and well-balanced slate of activities and challenges for participants with three primary components: education, community service and networking. More
Scholarship Requirements Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to individuals for the class beginning in January 2009. The $1,000 will be applied to the $1,500 registration fee with the participant or respective institution responsible for the $500 balance.
Preference will be given to those demonstrating financial need.

Graduate School of Banking Scholarships

Graduate School of Banking (GSB) Scholarship

Two Scholarships Awarded to IBA Members Only - $3,600 per recipient
($1,200 per year)
Established in 1983 as a supporting organization to the GSB, the Herbert V. Prochnow Educational Foundation supports research in banking education, and sponsors a number of educational programs and activities.
Each year, the Foundation awards GSB scholarships through GSB sponsoring state banking associations and other banking organizations. The scholarships are based on admission requirements as determined by the IBA. Each scholarship covers one-third of the annual cost with the institution responsible for the remaining amount. ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking Scholarship
University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia
One Scholarship Awarded to an ABA and/or IBA Member
Stonier offers courses on enterprise risk management; strategies for increasing non-interest income; forecasting interest rates; fraud, privacy and security; strategic approach to compliance; ethics; and marketing strategy to name a few. The school has a number of core courses in addition to 25 elective courses so that students can round out their knowledge gaps.
The ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking (Stonier) and the IBA are
co-sponsoring a scholarship for an Illinois banker who meets the Stonier admission requirements as outlined on the application. The scholarship covers one-third of the annual cost with the institution responsible for the remaining amount. Tuition includes all instructional materials and most meals throughout the week.
