AIB online instructor-led courses follow a traditional classroom format with an online instructor and specific start and end dates. The courses run from five to 16 weeks. Participants complete one lesson each week under the guidance of an instructor. The instructor assigns homework electronically and grades weekly assignments. The assignments include reading a chapter in the prescribed textbook; completing a short assignment and forwarding it electronically to the instructor or posting it on the electronic class discussion board; and collaborating with other students using electronic discussion boards, chat rooms and e-mail.

Exams and self-check quizzes for each assignment will be taken over the Internet. Also, quizzes and exams will be graded electronically. Exams must be administered by a manager or supervisor to receive credit. Upon completion of a course, a grade will be posted to the participant's online grade book. The grade will be based upon performance on assignments, the mid-term and final exam.

American Council on Education (ACE)
Twelve online courses underwent a rigorous and judicious third-party evaluation process with the ACE. Every aspect of these courses was reviewed, analyzed and judged by qualified, objective college faculty. The
six-member review team found that the courses reviewed met the educational standards of accredited colleges and universities. Thanks to cooperating colleges granting college credit for courses taken in non-traditional settings, it is possible for these courses to count toward an academic degree. Only AIB Online – Instructor-led courses have been awarded the ACE credit recommendation.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations or transfers before the class starts there is a 100% refund for cancellations and no transfer fee if the student wants to move to another date.
If the student cancels within 10 business days of the class beginning, an administrative fee of $100 is charged
There are no refunds for cancellations made more than 10 business days after the start of the class, subject to special exceptions.
If a student would like to transfer to another class after 10 business days we will charge them the $100 transfer fee on a one-time basis. If a student needs to transfer again after the 10 business days they will be required to pay the entire registration fee again (minus the textbook).
