The IBA is partnering with the Illinois Community College network to offer Teller Training and Principles of Banking classes. The classes are held onsite at various college campuses and taught by banking professionals and practitioners.
These two classes are designed to develop the skills and knowledge that can lead to long-term banking careers. These classes are designed for
- college students seeking a career in banking who need effective training to help them secure a rewarding position;
- young adults who may not know what career to pursue, but want to explore what the banking and financial services industry has to offer; and
- bank employees in training, such as tellers and relationship bankers, who do not have a firm background in banking, yet would like to advance their careers.
