Continuing Education Information Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB)
The Illinois Bankers Association (IBA) has been approved as an Accredited Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) by the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB). As a nonprofit, independent corporation sponsored by the American Bankers Association (ABA), ICB’s mission is to promote excellence and professionalism in all parts of the industry. The ACEP designation is provided to institutions, associations and suppliers who provide training and continuing education that directly meets the professional development needs of ICB's certified members.

The IBA offers continuing education credits that can be applied to ICB certifications for those individuals currently holding designations. The certified professional must accumulate a specified level of continuing education every three years in order to maintain certification.

The IBA programs that have qualified for certification include regional seminars, web seminars, conferences and AIB programs.
