He/she is responsible for the approval of loans within prescribed guidelines, documentation, file maintenance, collateral verification, and the profitable and secure investment of bank funds in connection with commercial loans. It is his/her duty to review, evaluate and if necessary, suggest changes for existing policies, services and procedures. He/she is responsible for handling more complex or demanding credit than those typically handled by more junior officers, and is expected to be able to operate autonomously with minimal supervision. He/she is expected to handle a disproportionately large portfolio of problem credits including credits identified for exit from the bank. Education: bachelor’s degree.
