Critical Education Training—the IBA is here for you!

Banking has never been more challenging and more complex, making this a critical time for staying on top of the growing list of regulatory compliance and risk issues, new technologies, business development and other essential training.

The IBA is working non-stop to respond to your training needs, and we hope that you have noticed our fall and winter line-up of education programs.  We understand that banks are operating today with more limited resources —both budget and time—therefore, we are committed to rolling out quality and timely education, in several different formats, taking into account your time and money! 

This year, the IBA added webcasts—live and on-demand via the Internet—to our online delivery menu.   If you have not experienced this type of training, you have to try it! First, it is convenient, and secondly, you can have multiple employees trained at one time for one low price! By the way, we have added several concurrent sessions from our highly-rated Annual Conference to our library of recorded offerings. Be sure to try one! We will continue to add to our Library.

At the same time, we continue to offer dozens of timely in-person seminars throughout the state that are taught by well-known industry experts, in addition to our popular Regulatory Compliance and Commercial Lending and five-day schools.

Of course, our specialty conferences always receive high marks, and we have several planned for the fall.  Our Bank Directors’ Conference is planned for September 14, followed by the IBA/ILFI Women in Banking Conference on October 21-22 and Technology and Operations event on October 26. Our premier Midwest Bank Leaders Conference for CEOs and senior management is ready to go for November 16 and will focus on the revolutionary changes that face our industry.   To finish out the year, our popular Bank Counsel Conference on December 3 will cover the most pressing legal and regulatory topics!
