Future Leaders Alliance - Get involved, stay involved

The Future Leaders Alliance program offers three leadership tiers - providing more opportunities to get involved and stay involved!

FLA Emerging Leader - This annual membership is designed for individuals wanting to benefit from involvement in the Future Leaders Alliance. Benefits include numerous FLA educational and networking opportunities as well as discounts on IBA in-person seminars & schools.

FLA Institute - This premier program comprises of six leadership sessions, educational electives and financial literacy instruction in local communities.

FLA Institute Scholarship
Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to IBA member candidates. The scholarship will be applied to the $1,495 program fee. The remaining balance of $495 will be due prior to the first session.

FLA Institute Alumni - Graduates of the FLA Institute, as well as all classes dating back to 2006, qualify for the FLA Institute Alumni tier. To stay connected with your peers and the FLA program, this annual membership's benefits include numerous FLA educational and networking opportunities as well as discounts on IBA in-person seminars & schools.

Programs and Benefits

Each tier focuses on highly engaging educational events, grassroots government relations, community service and relationship building. The FLA programs include:

FLA and IBA Regional Meetings
The IBA is delineated by eight geographic regions ranging from Cook County comprising Region 1 to the southern-most counties designated as Region 8. Members are invited to IBA and FLA member-only meetings in which issues of common interest are discussed in a relaxed networking environment.

FLA Community Service Day
Demonstrating commitment to public service, members unite for a FLA Community Service Day. The date and location are selected by the FLA Board of Directors and vary each year.

Springfield Lobby Day and IBA Contact Banker Program
Members join banking colleagues from throughout the state for the annual lobby day event featuring face-to-face meetings with legislators and legislative leaders. IBA Contact Banker Program membership builds relationships between bankers and state and federal lawmakers.

Communications
Access to member-exclusive electronic newsletters and printed publications

Training
Members receive a 10% discount on IBA in-person seminars and series.
