Future Leaders Alliance
Benefiting your institution, your community,
your industry and your future.
The IBA answered the need expressed by its member institutions to provide leadership training for future leaders of the banking industry. What evolved was the Future Leaders Alliance (FLA), an innovative program for aspiring bankers that emphasizes education, community service and networking. To date, more than 100 individuals have graduated from FLA with accolades galore. The most recent graduating class, the Class of 2015, reached the end of a challenging and diverse curriculum which garnered tremendous feedback, with an average session rating of 4.7 on a 5.0 scale. This response speaks volumes as to the quality and breadth of the FLA’s educational component.
“Keeping good employees engaged and training them for future leadership roles is of critical importance to TheBANK
of Edwardsville. Participating in the IBA’s Future Leaders Alliance has provided an excellent way for us to do just that! Our people learn not only a great deal about leadership, our industry in general and bank operations specifically, but they also connect with and develop relationships with their classmates that reach beyond the walls of our institution. They build significant networks they can use to find answers to questions and share ideas. Because of the FLA program,
we’re able to provide learning opportunities for our “up and coming” leaders, which keeps them engaged with our bank and moving forward in their careers.”
